ChargeSpot Pocket is the first wireless charger to work with both Qi and PMA devices

The Toronto-based company ChargeSpot Wireless Power announced availability of the first wireless charger with dual standard support. Dubbed ChargeSpot Pocket, the device can charge both Qi and PMA compatible devices.

ChargeSpot Pocket is designed to use in public places. It installs beneath the surface, so it stays fully hidden from sight. The setup is convenient to integrate in tabletops or other areas prone to spills, thus making the device perfect for offices, hotels, restaurants, and cafes.

The new wireless charger is already deployed in venues around Canada. Here’s hoping that it will make it in large numbers outside of its motherland soon.
