Xiaomi plans to launch an update for its Xiaomi Mi 2 and Mi 2S smartphones by the end of this week. The update in question is MIUI v.6, which was first mentioned at the launch of the Xiaomi Mi4.
We’re yet to know what’s new other than the refreshed looks. Owners of the Xiaomi Mi Pad and Mi 3should also expect to receive the update, but there’s no information if this will happen this week.
In any case, the update won’t start to hit devices before August 16. On this date, Xiaomi will also officially publish update information and change log.
